…is here. I get piles of ideas of stuff to do online, but the problem is in not knowing how to get it up and running. I’ve developed the somewhat expensive habit of registering domain names that so far have no meaning except to me. The problem is in learning how to get the stuff slapped up here on The Intertube. Not that I’m expecting anything dramatic, not right away, but there is a learning curve. And once I figure out this basic blogging bidniz (and judging from a lot of blogs I’ve been reading, it seems to be a skill even a chimp can master), the glorious manifestation of my genius in cyberspace will proceed with greater alacrity. Alacrity! Alacrity! Dammit! Get me some alacrity! Stat!

By the way, the text of this post is supposed to be broken up into several paragraphs. If someone can explain to me why my carriage returns would not be working properly, I’d appreciate it.
That’s why there’s a logjam… every step along the way there’s a little glitch like this. I’m not complaining — the point of this blog is to learn, after all. Each li’l challenge is part of the puzzle that there is always some pleasure in solving.

Hmmm. I don’t know why you’re not getting paragraphs now - it does seem to be working for your comments, which should also not be the case, I reckon.
I still think you are over-thinking all of this, which is leading to your logjam. I mean, do you think I spent oodles of time thinking about mine? (what? you can tell? . . . be nice now!)
You are doing pretty well so far! You’re making progress! You are almost there!

Kath,
You’ve spent YEARS on your blog, and you’ve built up quite a body of work over that time. Do not diminish the work of all those months and months.
Overthinking is what I do. I predict I’ll be spending no small amount of time thinking about carriage returns.
